Romantic Intimate Wedding in Downtown Stillwater

Updated: Apr 21

Bride and Groom Portraits

It was a picturesque day for Leia and Taylor at their downtown Stillwater venue, the Loft 214 where they celebrated their wedding nuptials with friends and family. The day came together by an amazing group of vendors that made the couples dream day come true after planning their wedding all the way from Rochester.

The morning started off with mimosas, private vows, and a stroll downtown to capture portraits where Bride and Groom glowed with love. With their grandmothers acting as flower girls, the bride and groom then made their walk down the aisle where their close friend officiated a beautiful personal ceremony.

For the reception, the venue was filled with pillar candles and greenery to add a romantic glow to the space. All of the stationary, including their invitations, seating chart, and welcome sign were designed by our team to help highlight the couple's wedding color palette and theme.

When our original plan to hire a Mariachi group for cocktail hour didn't work out, DJ Noe from Viva La Fiesta came to the rescue and played the perfect Mariachi music for guests to enjoy with their signature Spicy Margarita cocktails during cocktail hour. He kept the party going all night with a great mix of modern pop music with a Spanish twist.

For desserts, with one of my favorite spreads I have ever set up, we had an array of Mexican treats (from El Burrito Mercado) with conchas, churros with chocolate and caramel sauce, a vintage style strawberry-vanilla cake from Dorothy Ann's Bakery and the bride and groom's favorite sweets- chocolate pretzels and gummy worms!

Overall, it was the perfect day to celebrate Leia and Taylor, and they couldn't have chosen a more perfect location for the occasion!
